  • Welcome to dig/s — A site with housewares products for your home selected with care, priced fairly, featuring customer service that you don't have to dig for! Dig?

    "Digs" of course is a long-used term for home, pad, flat, apartment, cave, flop, crib etc. In other terms, “dig/s” is the home of stuff for your home. And I've organized the site room by room to help you find what you're after. (Of course there's more than just Housewares! Check for amazing books and games for your little guys, cool meal-time tools for the wee ones, and even some beauties for you.) Click through the room-tagged Collections or just browse all products. Housewares take many forms and include a wide range of of things to use and enjoy in your Home. Naturally, you can also search, or you can ask me to help find what you need. I'm here for you!

    When you peek inside you're going to find products that are both beautiful and useful - isn't that what we all hope for when we shop? But please don't think for a moment that “dig/s” is a complete show yet; I've really just begun. I'll be adding new manufacturers and new Housewares and home products daily, until I have no more room in my digs. So check us out and then stick around. You won't regret a moment of it.

    • If you've tried or used a product and then decided within 45 Days that it's not what you'd hoped, pay to ship it back to us and I will fairly prorate your refund based on the condition of the item when I receive it back at our warehouse.
    I Promise that I'll bend over backward to be fair with you.

    • Should you have any problem or issue with a transaction, you have only to contact me and I'll get it solved to your satisfaction. Promise!

    If you need expedited shipping, I'll be happy to give you a quote before you purchase. That goes for any special handling request as well.

    The Fine Print, but in the same size type:
    Several types of goods may not be returned - Perishable goods such as food or flowers; newspapers, magazines or books (unless new and unused) cannot be returned. I also do not accept products that are of an intimate nature or are considered sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

    Additional non-returnable items:
    Gift cards
    Downloadable software products
    Some health and personal care items

    To complete your return, I'll need a receipt or proof of purchase (a copy to be sent with the return item; or email me for a copy of the receipt before returning the item).

    Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer unless I advise you to.

    There are certain situations where I can only issue partial refunds:
    *Books with obvious signs of use.
    *CD, DVD, software, video games, or vinyl records that have been opened.
    *Any item not in its original condition, or is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
    *Any item that is returned more than 45 days after the original delivery date.

    Refunds (if applicable)
    Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund (rare), including the amount in the case of a partial refund (see above).
    If approved, then I'll process your refund immediately. The credit will automatically be applied to you original payment method, and will typically show in your account within 48 hours.

    Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
    If you haven’t received a refund within 4-5 Business Days (weekdays), first check your payment account. If your refund has not appeared, also contact your credit card company - it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
    Or, contact your bank if you used a debit card or transfer payment process such as through PayPal. Different payment methods or payment sources can have very different processing time (although now-days it is usually quite rapid).

    Sale items (if applicable)
    Some sale items may be non-returnable. You will know this before purchasing however.

    Exchanges (if applicable)
    I can only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send me an email at chuckc@digs-homegoods.com and you and I will find a solution.

    In some circumstances you will be responsible for paying the shipping costs to return your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable except in those situations outlined above. If you receive a refund and I've paid the return shipping, the cost of the return shipping may in some case be deducted from your refund.

    Depending on where you live, the time it may take for an exchanged product to reach you, will of course vary.

    If you are shipping an item over $75, you should use a trackable shipping service (UPSP Priority or Priority Express, UPS or FedEx) and purchase sufficient shipping insurance to cover the original cost of the item. I can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item; the insurance will protect you.

    Please Keep one thing in mind: I want to make sure that you are happy with your purchase and continue as my customer. SO, PLEASE contact me, The Old Guy, before contacting my lawyer or telling my wife.
